After a drive in the downpour outside - it might be slightly smoother or I might be imagining that.

It's definitely eliminated the new amp picking up the engine revs :D

I used these:

http://www.jaycar.co...62&form=KEYWORD

Red & Black Large Eye Terminals 8GA Pack

Suits Thinner Cable (8GA)- Hole size - 8.4mm.- Cable hole dia - 4.8mm.- Length including cover - 42mm.- Metal thickness 1.0mm.- 1 x Red & 1 x Black.

Nothing fancy :) I had to buy two packs as they didn't do them singly at the local place so I have lots of black ones left over.

cheers

After a bit more driving I'm convinced the engine is running a little more smoothly and the idle is more steady.

still trying to find some connectors, them from maplins would cost £35 :giggle:

Yeah that's a bit steep. I looked on the RS components website as well but couldn't find any.

do they need to be gold plated as the maplin ones are plated as they are audio connectors.

I wouldn't expect so as long as they're conductive :)

in which case it shouldnt be expensive to do!!

by the way good job Rob!
