does anyone have or know where i can get a sump gaurd? i have just split my second sump, the joy of coilovers and 16" banded steelies :p

christ how low are you? any pics

what surface of road were you on. must of been uneven or something in the road?

I would rip my splitter off before the sump would get hit, not that it would help as by the time i applied brakes would be too late

ill get some pics up once its back from the garage, its on 16" wheels, low profiles, and dropped about 60mm atm, if i can get a sump gaurd then it will go lower, ill have a word with my local skoda dealer,

Blimmey how does that handle that low...you must feel all the bumps big time..

I did have a the sump guard part number somewhere will dig it out..

remember the sump guard will hang even lower, so if you drop the car too much you will be forever banging the sump guard on *everything*.

You might do better off with a low profile sump - iirc such a thing does exist?

yeh they do was a similar post a couple of weeks back there was a link to a place that did them

yea you can get low profile sumps from awesome gti, any ideas how much lower the gaurd will sit? ill get one try it and see what happens if it hangs to low then it will be for slae on here pretty soon lol

the sump protector tray requires some mount points need specially attaching to the chassis I believe.....
