WW27 Build Date

Featured Replies

Just phoned the dealer and our Yeti has a build date of WW27 against it. So all going well should hopefully be getting

our Candy White 1.2 TSI SE with Panoramic Sunroof in August!!!

I'm still holding onto the slim hope that I might be able to add the factory fit MDI option on my MY12 car. Although, as long as they don't decide to fit the nasty seat fabric that the SE + has I'll be quite happy just to finally get car.

Nice one!!!! And a Velux too! You will LOVE it!

As to MDI?! Pah... we will never get it I suspect. There is one little bit of trim ahead of the gear lever that is LHD specific and thus don't fit RHD cars and that is it it seems. No MDI for us... I see now it has also been taken away from the options list on the Irish Yeti website. So I wonder if indeed they ever had the option?

And that seat fabric is truly hideous yes - like a child had been let loose with some crayons in the car! AND they fit black seat fabric but cream door trims and lower dash! Ghastly.

Yup, have pretty much resigned myself to not getting the MDI but I have this smart & discreet little plan B power option in place until we get the retro fit done...

Belkin Micro USB

But that will only charge it! Has naught to do with playing music surely?!

I was really hell bent on getting MDI but you know what? There are so many options to play music in the Yeti that you really don't need it. I normally play music from iTunes via my iPhone and the BT Audio connection. Perfect. You can't skip tracks via the steering wheel or see what is playing like you can when you play music via the SD card, but that is not the end of the world if you have decent "smart" playlists that only play what you like.

I also have my old iPod 80GB living in the armrest. The charge on that lasts for days and plugged in via the Aux cable and socket in the armrest works a treat too.

Yes, it's only for charging and it would need to be used with a Aux cable but my previous power option on our last car was a Monster USB cable/connector that you could have just about towed a car with! So this little USB charger with a aux lead will be a bit tidier. I'm sure the SD card will work out just fine. Although I like the sound of the iTunes via my iPhone option with BT Audio connection but am not sure that the SE spec be set up for this?

Yup, now got so used to the SD card route that it is all I use most of the time; 200+ albums on that, and room for more when I get round to it. I've also got an MP3 player sitting in the armrest that could be plugged into the Aux socket, but as it has only an 8gb capacity (as opposed to the 32gb SD card)and I can't control it via the Bolero, I never use it in the car. I have an adaptor (similar to the one DDS identifies) to charge the MP3 player up, and then I pop the player in my pocket when I leave the car so I've got music to walk with if I want it.

Sounds ideal. I'll be investing in a 32Gb SD card before August and getting all my tunes ready for the big day!

Brilliant, thanks for alerting me to this. You have just saved me some grief as I would inevitably have purchased one of the cards that didn't work.
