18"s on a fabia mk2

Featured Replies

Will 18" wheels 8J wheels fit a fabia without issues?, also what tyre size would be required on an 18" wheels, and does anyone have any experience of running 18"s on a mk2 VRS any issues?, any change in the ride, handling etc?

Thanks

Will 225/40 R18s fit, or does it need to be 215/35 R18?

I bought 17's from a member that had new 8 x 18's on with 215/35 R 18's and they were very stretched.

(Looking for the pictures, it was a white vRS and lowered.)

The 18's i tried on a vRS were just the OEM wheels / tyres swapped from a Audi A1 Competition Sport (122ps Engines)

I did not like them and i had tried the Steering Assist back to standard with them on,

usually with 215/40 R 17s i have less steering assist.

Are you fitting them just for the look?

215/40 R 17

or 215/35 R 18 are just the difference between Ooo & Ahhh.

?

What do others with 18'S on a Fabia with DSG have fitted?

The member had these wheels Powder Coated Black, they were just newly on here.

& MY MISTAKE,

THEY ARE 8.5 x 18 with 215/35 R 18's.

Look and I've seen a set of 18"s locally that are the ones I want and a very good price but thinking about it not sure I could live with a 35 profile its crashy enough on a 40 profile, looks like I'll just wait for some 17"s

needs to be 215/35 tires or you will rub your arches off . best bet is falken or toyo tires since those are pretty slim on the side .
