Hi all, I had a safety recall for an engine cover part that may come lose and damage the turbo, took the car in and got it back last week, pooped the bonnet today to top up screen fluid to see the whole cover has even removed !

Is it just me or is that just WRONG!!;

The engine bay looks tatty and cheap now! 

Has any one else had this?????  So annoyed with this "cheap and ****" fix

 

Many have had the Recall, and more will not have.

They will get you a replacement cover eventually. They need to you bought and paid for one when you got the car.

Was that a receptionist on the Service Desk at the dealership then?

Not known for bothering to gen up on any information important to Skoda owners that might have to deal with them. 

Yeah it was, they knew nothing other than it will only take about 5 minutes! Lol always helpful🤦‍♂️
